Ertalyte®

ADVANTAGES OF ERTALYTE®
  • Excellent wear resistance
  • Low coefficient of dynamic friction (0.25-0.35)
  • Good UV resistance
  • Very good dimensional stability (low moisture absorption and low CLTE: 60.10-6 m / (m.K))
  • Very good creep resistance
  • Good acid resistance (pH below 1)
  • Physiologically inert
ERTALYTE® TX vs ERTALYTE®
  • Better wear resistance
  • Lower and more constant dynamic friction coefficient (0.15-0.25)
  • High pressure-velocity capabilities (up to two times higher PV limit)
  • Lower anti-slip sensitivity
  • Lower tensile strength and compression

CAUTION WHEN USED:
  • Applications in water of> 55ºC continuous (restricted by hydrolysis resistance limit)
  • Applications with alkaline media (pH> 9)
  • Parts subject to high impact
Our ERTALYTE®

Ertalon®/Nylatron®

ADVANTAGES OF ERTALON® / Nylatron®
  • High impact resistance
  • Good resistance to fatigue
  • High mechanical damping capacity
  • Good UV resistance
  • Good resistance against bases (up to pH 12)
  • Excellent wear resistance
CAUTION WHEN USED:
  • Precision parts (high moisture absorption!)
  • Operation in acid medium (pH <4)
  • Bearings subject to high PV values (pressure-speed)
  • Applications in water above 70 ° C continuously (due to limited resistance to hydrolysis)

Ertacetal®/Acetron®

  • Very good dimensional stability (low moisture absorption)
  • Good slip properties (hardly any stick-slip)
  • Excellent resilience
  • Ertacetal C: good alkaline resistance and hydrolysis
ERTACETAL® C vs ERTACETAL® H
  • Free of central line porosity
  • Superior resistance to hydrolysis up to 85ºC
  • Superior chemical resistance in the pH range from 4 to 13
  • Superior service temperature in air (continuous): 100ºC
  • Lower tensile strength in yield: 66 MPa
  • Minor E-Voltage Module = 2800 MPa

CAUTION WHEN USED:
  • Applications abroad (low resistance to UV rays)
  • Operation in acid medium (pH <4)
  • Bearings in contact with rough coupling metal surfaces (due to moderate wear resistance)
