Ketron® PEEK GF30

beje

Reinforced with 30% fiberglass offers greater rigidity and creep resistance than Ketron PEEK 1000® and has much better dimensional stability. Ketron Peek GF30® is very suitable for structural applications that carry high static charges for long periods of time at high temperatures. The application of the Ketron GF30 PEEK® to sliding parts, however, should be carefully examined, since the glass fibers tend to wear out the contact surface.

MAIN CHARACTERISTICS

- High maximum service air temperature (250 ° C continuous and 310 ° C for short periods)

- High mechanical strength, stiffness and creep resistance, even at high temperatures

- Excellent resistance to chemicals and hydrolysis

- Excellent wear and frictional behavior

- Very good dimensional stability

- Excellent resistance to high energy radiation (gamma rays and X-rays)

- Good PTFE replacement when mechanical load capacity is greater or when superior wear resistance is required

ApPLICATIONS

- Metal components

- Pump Components

- Valve seats

- Bearings

- Rollers

- Gears
